EVERY NIGHT, MY LATE GRANDPA SPOKE TO ME IN A DREAM: “CHECK THE RED BOX IN THE BASEMENT!”-ONE DAY, I FINALLY DID
I’m 22, working as a cashier, and I’m an orphan. My grandpa raised me, and I’m forever grateful to him. I always tried to be kind and helpful to him-unlike my older brother.
My brother took our parents’ inheritance, borrowed money from Grandpa, and disappeared. I havent seen him since, not even at Grandpa’s funeral.
Anyway, here’s where it gets strange. After Grandpa passed, he started appearing in my dreams every night. We’d be fishing together, and he’d keep saying, “Check the red box in the basement!”
At first, I brushed it off. I mean, it’s just a dream, right? But when it happened night after night, I finally caved. I went down to the basement, feeling a little crazy but curious.
I started going through his stuff, and then, under a pile of old things, I saw it- a red box. And then I went closer and opened it!
